As our Moorabbin address falls within the traditional boundaries of the Bunurong Peoples, Cricket HQ acknowledges the Bunurong Peoples’ of the Kulin Nation as Traditional Owners and Custodians, and pays respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
The Bunurong People occupied areas of south eastern Victoria for tens of thousands of years, their traditional lands stretched from what is now known as the Werribee River, Westernport Bay, Phillip Island, Wilson's Promontory and Port Phillip Bay.
Before European settlement, the Mayone-bulluk clan lived around the Carrum Carrum Swamp, while the Ngaruk-Willam clan were based around Mordialloc.
