Cricket HQ is headquarters for all things cricket! We offer one-on-one private coaching plus indoor net hire to individuals and local cricket clubs. We run a Winter Coaching Programme through June and July plus Cricket HQ is the home of the Victorian Junior Cricket Academy. We also run School Holiday Cricket Camps and Group Spin Bowling Group Classes.

Our retail shop is fully stocked with cricket gear including bats, cricket boots, pads, thigh pads, gloves, balls and accessories.

Based in Moorabbin in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the Cricket HQ indoor facility has 6 nets including five lanes that are available for individual hire or club hire for their pre-season and in-season training sessions. The sixth net is a dedicated cricket coaching lane complete with cameras for video analysis.  The lighting is world-class with our lighting engineers delivering 1,000 lumens at a height of one metre.

Most importantly, you'll have access to some of the most passionate, accredited, high performance coaches in Victoria. They use some state of the art technology including a number of bowling machines (BOLA brand) that allow you and our coaches to regulate the speed and swing of each delivery. Some of the machines also come with auto ball feeders and a remote control so individual batters can operate the machine without assistance.

CRICKET HQ - WINTER PROGRAMME 

The Winter Programme is a structured cricket coaching program for 8 to 80 year old players that runs for 8 weeks through June and  July each year. The programme commences on the the first weekend of June each year and operates on both Saturdays and Sundays. Participants can attend either day on the weekend to work around their other sporting pursuits and the only pre-requisite to participate in the Winter Programme is a passion for the game of cricket. Players must be prepared to work hard to take their game to the next level and most importantly, the Winter Programme is for cricketers of all ages and standards from rookies to stars. This is distinct from the Victorian Junior Cricket Academy that is designed for elite junior players. Winter Programme participants will hit more than 1,000 balls over the 8 week period and massively improve their skills, grow in confidence and realise their full potential. .

VICTORIAN JUNIOR CRICKET ACADEMY

We recognise the fact that most junior club coaches in local competitions like the South East Cricket Association (SECA), ECA, DDCA and ISEC are unpaid volunteers. While they do a fantastic job, cricket is a technical game and coaching can produce massive results. If your son or daughter is an ambitious young cricketer looking for elite level coaching, Cricket HQ provides a high performance training environment.

Cricket HQ is the home of the Victorian Junior Cricket Academy that offers boys and girls aged 8 to 15 the opportunity to fast track their development. The program covers all aspects of the game including batting, bowling, fielding and game day strategies. The Academy runs programs all year round and caters for ambitious and talented junior cricketers looking to play and dominate at representative team level. Over the past few seasons a number of Academy players have represented Victoria at the Under 15 and Under 17 national cricket carnivals, Most academy participants have played representative cricket for associations like SECA, ECA, ISEC and DDCA or Under 15 J G Craig teams.
